Howl Brewing – Vienna Lager For those who remember the Eagles 1899 Vienna Lager Anniversary beer from last year, this is a nice replacement for last year’s celebrated beer. 5%

Driftwood Brewery: Blackstone Porter – A drinkable platform to explore dark malt! The Blackstone Porter has ample body to support the flavours of chocolate and coffee derived from dark specialty malts. A surprisingly quaffable session Porter, and the perfect companion to good conversation when the rain is lashing at the windows. Blackstone Porter is available seasonally during the colder months.

Hoyne Pilsner – our best selling beer. Here’s a note from Brewer Sean Hoyne:

“I have always believed that a beautifully balanced Pilsner is the highest expression of the Brewmaster’s art. When perfection is achieved, it delivers a subtle and exquisite beer that stands alone with quiet confidence. Hoyne Pilsner is the culmination of over 30 years of my long love of making fine lagers – an authentic European beer that is very much worth waiting for.

Because of my deep respect for the Eastern European history of brewing Pilsners, we have gone to great lengths to emulate these fine beers. Of course, we use hops from the Czech Republic (who doesn’t?), but we also bring in our malted barley from two different malt houses near Heidelberg, Germany. Perhaps most importantly, we ferment this beer at cool temperatures and let it age for a minimum of six weeks. The clarity that is obtained is the result of this prolonged aging time, not through filtration of any sort. The result is a crisp, clean, flavourful Pilsner where one is rarely enough. Prost! Sean”
